My face when I’ve wasted precious minutes on something that isn’t battle tested in classrooms 😵💫😤
Different student populations might need different directives, are you meeting your students where they are?

Teachers — you’ve changed, and so have your students.
🧡Maybe you’re adjusting to an ACE model campus and wondering how to reach a new population.
🧡Maybe you’re a veteran teacher searching for validation that your methods still matter — and how to adapt them for a generation shaped by Covid.
🧡Maybe you’re just getting started, hoping for tools that actually work and a community that gets it.
The Breathe & Move Educator Institute is for you.
Rooted in real classrooms and real outcomes, this one-day training blends movement, mindfulness, and practical tools you can use right away.

The drama is key! I love using emotion to teach non-locomotor movements like melt. It’s giving ‘oh no what a worldddd’ 🧙

I’ve been quietly building something for educators who want more than just another PD.
This space is for those who teach with their full selves — body, breath, and heart.
The Breathe & Move Educator Institute is coming July 22.
More soon. For now: just know you’re invited. 🌱

I get straight to the garden after school in the spring. It’s so lush and inviting. On any day, I’m interacting with hundreds of children and adults, sometimes in multiple locations.
I come here to mull through, process, file, and critique most of those interactions. Like an algorithm to self improve and optimize engagement in my work.
The garden always has answers in metaphors and analogies. I am a teacher after all.
In my home gardens I grow food, herbs, flowers, and natives. In this photo, a particular method I adore @wildchildkitchengardens
